GILPIN LODGE COUNTRY HOUSE HOTEL – CUMBRIA
NEW BUILD: Design / Approvals / Project Management in Conjunction with BARCO Developments of six new luxury suites in a new build separate wing for a distinguished Country House Hotel. This challenging scheme had to be both contemporary and modern in its decor, yet in keeping with the original Victorian House and its National Park setting. The building was prefabricated in Masonite resulting in a 7 month construction programme, and a building with the lowest heat losses achieved with current construction. Energy efficiency is also achieved through the heating system, passive solar design, and high spec electronics including electric cut-off on exit.
3D visualisations (bottom images) gave accurate presentations to the client. The new build site clearance was carried out by BCL enabling a month head start on site. Landscape Design / Construction / and Cedar hot tub installation was carried out by Ben Cunliffe Landscaping (BCL). Total Project Cost £900,000
